L'ARTISTA

LORELLA CIAMPELLI è nata a Volterra (PI) nel 1961.Vive e lavora a Livorno, dove ha frequentato i corsi di pittura, disegno e incisione presso la Libera Accademia d'Arte "Trossi-Uberti". Dal '91 partecipa attivamente alla vita artistica in campo locale e nazionale e le sue opere figurano in collezioni in Italia e all'estero. Pittrice iperrealista, negli ultimi anni si è interessata a soggetti del mondo vegetale. La pittrice li immagina dotati di un'anima e lasciando spazio alla fantasia, li presenta isolati su sfondi semplici ed essenziali. Ecco vegetali che assumono posizioni erette, supine, si uniscono come amanti, quasi volessero manifestarci tutti i loro sentimenti e raccontarci i loro "disagi" esistenziali. Ecco nascere i finocchi in vetrina a sostituire preziosi soprammobili, limoni e peperoni che si specchiano, elementi restituiti in modo fedele, al reale, vogliosi di catturare attenzione e merito dall'uomo che spesso distolto da miraggi edonistici non sa più afferrarne la loro autenticità.

LORELLA CIAMPELLI was born in Volterra (Pisa) n 1961. She lives and works in Livorno, where she attended painting, drawing and engraving courses by the free Art Academy "Trossi Uberti". Since 1991 she has been an active part of artistic life in the local and national field; her works appear in collections both in Italy and abroad. As a hyperrealistic painter, in the last years she took interest in subjects belonging to the vegetable kingdom. The painter imagines them with a soul and, giving space to the fantasy shows them alone on simple and essential background. There are vegetables assuming upright, supine positions, joining like lovers, as they would express us all their feelings and tell us their essential "uneasiness". There are bearing fennels inside the window to substitute for precious ornaments; lemons and peppers which are mirrored elements faithfully restored, to reality, desirous to catch attention and worth from the man, who often is diverted by hedonistic mirages, and can grasp their genuineness anymore.
